Happy Birthday Mr Prime Minister
It has been a while since I have last posted a commenet. I would like to wish the Prime Minister, The Right Honourable Hubert Alexander Ingraham, a very happy belated birthday and may almighty God continue to bless, guide and strenghten him to continue to lead our country, The Bahamas, and all Bahamians toward a better way of life, through transparency and accountability in government, economic growth and development, and sound and decisive actions.
I must also commend The Honourable Member of Parliament for Blue Hills, Sidney Collie for showing what a true and respectable man is. A man who isn't afraid to admit his mistakes and willing to step down and from a high office before any further damage was done.
Let the Honourable Member for Blue Hills actions be an example to Perry Christie and every Honourable Member of Parliament.

What the former Prime Minister fails to comprehend is that as Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas PM Hubert Ingraham's first priority is to the people of this country whether they are FNM or PLP. He is fully aware of the individual talents offered by his cabinet members and that is why those chosen to serve were appointed to their respective posts. It is very rarely recognized by governments that people with exceptional talents such as, Mr. Vincent Vanderpool Wallace, would be best utilized in their areas of expertise for the better of the whole (the country) instead of few (party). The former ministers of finance were perfect examples of this and the current Minister of State in that area also comes with a wealth of knowledge in that area as an Economist.
We have finally come to a place where professionalism and most importantly maturity in governance will carry us to to higher heights. The public is even prepared for it with their acceptance of the current changes. No longer will ignorance, immaturity and scandalous behavior be tolerated so our leaders and those hoping to lead need to pay close attention to the public opinion and stop with the baseless and petty criticisms. Give credit where it is due and stop the noise in the market.
